Kitchen Cabinets | Cabinet Storage | Cabinet Shelving

The most important role for cabinets is storage. Given that the kitchen in most homes is used as a functional space for cooking and storage of culinary tools and ingredients, makes the design of this space especially important. That’s why in 2023, we continue to focus a lot of attention towards storage and shelving enhancements, such as integrated pull-out organizers, and adaptable shelving that makes putting pots and pans away, much easier.

Many time these enhancements can be put into place as part of a cabinet refacing project. Other times, for a variety of reasons, it’s simply better to pull out the old and start from scratch, incorporating the look and feel you want into functional spaces most appropriate for modern day use.

Kitchen Walk-In Pantry | Pantry Shelving

Adding a walk-in pantry to your kitchen is possibly one of the smartest enhancements you can make to your home. In fact, it is probably one of the biggest bangs for your buck if your goal is to increase resale value without breaking the bank. That’s because the additional storage space gained from this feature can sometimes eliminate an immediate need to reface or replace your kitchen cabinetry.

If you’re intending to sell your home, building this storage space addition can strengthen a potential sale to a would be home buyer who may appreciate the additional storage space as they plan a complete kitchen remodel that incorporates their own vision and style.

Kitchen Cabinets Color Ideas

In 2023, it is our opinion that it’s ok to reface or install cabinets with a bit of color.

Choosing the right color for your cabinetry, however, is most important because of the dramatic impact it can have on your kitchen. Bright colors can deliver a bold statement and brighten up a room, which could be especially uplifting for early morning risers. But colors like bright yellows, reds, greens and blues are not for everyone. Fans of Andy Warhol or Britto are likely to be more keen about the use of these colors for their kitchen cabinets.

Alternatively, light hues of these same colors can provide a blank slate for open shelf designs or decors that are rich in their use of plants, natural stones and woods.

The common fear for adding color is that it may limit limit potential buyers if the time comes to sell their home. If that’s, in fact, the goal, then we typically will suggest a greater amount of care towards maintaining a neutral balance of colors that appeal to a wider audience. But if you’re intending to stay in your home for a few years or more, then it really should be about what colors are going to motivate you each morning, and most important, make you happy.

Kitchen Cabinets | Solid Wood | Cherry Wood | White Oak Wood

The use of solid wood materials for a kitchen cabinetry is always on the top of our list. They can be stained or painted to accommodate any kitchen theme and style, are easy to maintain, and are very durable. Additionally, most solid wood materials are an eco-friendly, sustainable option that can be more easily refaced than some other cabinetry materials.

We especially like Cherry and White Oak wood because they blend so beautifully into a variety of kitchen styles and color themes. Also, the natural appearance of these woods have an innate ability to heighten the design quality of a kitchen.

Kitchen Cabinetry Hardware | Handmade Handles | Handmade Pulls

Handles and pulls are the perfect vehicle for adding a bit of pop to kitchen cabinetry. This is especially true for minimalist design themes and styles. There are no creative design limits for these hardware accessories, allowing them to substitute as functional pieces of art.

We work with the best craftsman artisans to incorporate “small” details, that as far as kitchen cabinetry is concerned, fire up an impactful statement of a homeowners personality. Local, and sometimes widely acclaimed visual artists are commissioned to design one-of-a-kind images that can either be scanned or etched into durable, high quality materials such as solid wood, porcelain or stone.

As part of your Premier White-Glove experience, your Personal Project Consultant will convert your visions and choices into a well executed plan of action, further coordinating, communicating and assessing the quality of workmanship to ensure that the completion of your kitchen cabinetry project meets or exceeds your expectations.
